This Type Of Thinking (Could Do Us In)

Verse 1:
I see the same lady driving the same green escort and least once a week on Eureka Rd. She has a "Princess" sticker on her bumper and she is usually doing something else in her car while driving, (don't we all) like eating or singing. Do other people pay this much attention to people? Or is it just me?

Chorus:
Is it weird that I find myself questioning whether or not it is acceptable to order a large "Black" coffee when 90% of the employee's at the Timmy H that I go to are African American.

Verse 2:
I see the same guy standing at the Smartbus bus stop almost every morning on my way to work. I notice him because he is a server at the Southgate Red Robin and we call him "Chocolate Rain" because he looks like Tay Zonday, who sings "Chocolate Rain" on YouTube. Chocolate Rain guy, If you ever read this, I'm not trying to offend you - but you really do look like him.

Chorus:
Maybe I should order my coffee "Regular" - Suggesting that it is regular to be black.

Bridge:
I forgot how old I was the other day - I had to ask my wife if I was 24 or 25. If I would have done the math, I could have figured it out.

I find myself forgetting lots of stuff lately. The beginnings of Alzheimer's and dementia scares me - despite distancing myself from aluminum. (It's been linked to causing both of those diseases)

  1. Call me crazy but "Chocolate Rain" may be more offensive than black coffee.

I like the way you write. No pressure.

  2. I think that the guy who sings chocolate Rain is cool! HE has a super deep voice. I would be proud if people thought I looked like the Chocolate Rain Guy.
